Assignment 2 - CV

Assignment 2 is all about navigation. So we were told to create a resume/profile cv for our assignment. As you can see my resume is simple cause everything is design on one page. 

In the page, you'll see the banner with my name Iskandar, some profile information and picures.

For the button i used font button when you roll over or click it'll change color. The button is for the pictures.

Journal Reflections by Iskandar

1)How is your understanding of the topic after doing the project? Understanding about interactive multimedia?

I’ve learnt so much about the topic from the project. I’m able to understand about the navigation of the multimedia and designing the layout of the project. After doing the first and second assignments i'm already on a go. Both assignment help me for my project. Team work also helps me to share ideas and help each other.

2)What were the problems faced since Proposal 2? How did you/your team solve your group problems?

Since we have never work before, we decided to experience each other. Well theirs is definitely some communication problem. Clash of ideas but at the end we see on  the bright side. What best for the team and project. What can be done and not. The main problem that we faced as a group when we're unable to linking all the pages since all of the pages has multi-layers. 

3)What would you do differently next time?

Communicate well with each other. Communication is a tool of any success story.

4)How is your motivation level?

I was very pump up of this project. I was excited to this project as I really love this subject and everything about it. My motivation level was at its peak.

5)How was working with your group / group leader?

Working with group was fine for me as I prefer more to work individually. But since it’s a big project we need each others. One can’t handle this huge stress of work.  I was the pusher of the team. I tried my best to inform and remind everyone to make sure do their part and don’t wait till last minute. I wish our group leader would have a say for at least once and take his role as a leader.

6)How was it working on the project?

Working on this project was stress yet it was so much fun. After all the laborious work we’re satisfied with the outcome.       

7)Update on what you have been writing previously?

I've been working on the project design and layout looking over the video tutorials on youtube. 

8)How were your teammates/Group leader?

My teammates was great. I had fun working with them. The group leader was a bit too relax. But he’s fine. I just wish he would take his role seriously as a leader next time he was chosen as one.    

9)Personal evaluation of your own effort and that of your team

To rate my effort on this project on a scale 1 to 10, I rate myself 9. This is because I was devoted to my work and this project. I help designing the main page and the editor’s page. I also come out with the idea what we need to have on our music sections. I suggest the navigation of the pages. I also took on the role as a person who step up and remind everyone all the time not to forget to do their part.

Assignment 1 - Me and my pet

For assignment 1 i choose Me and my pet. The interaction of the both characters. As you can see, both characters; me and my pet dancing around all over the place.

For the characters building, i did everything on Adobe Flash CS4. From head, to toe, the clothing and everything in Flash. 

For the moving/dancing, i used bone tool to create the movement. You can see the hands and legs are moving up and down.

For the emotion, i used keyframe to change the emotions. You can see the both characters eyes are blinking, teasing, smiling and all.

As for the page Artist of the month, I chose Lady Gaga. The page color is grey.  There's a brief informatoion about Lady Gaga. And you can also see a home button in it. There are also three clickable buttons; GAGA, PHOTOS and VIDEO. When you click on these buttons it’ll go their pages.

In the PHOTOS page. When you click on the button PHOTOS it’ll go here. The photos that I designed, I want it to be messy. So as you can see the photo are arrange to stack from one and another. When you click on each photo, it’ll go back and next photo will appear. You can also rearrange the photo.

In the VIDEOS section, you will be able to enjoy Lady Gaga music video poker face.

After we have discussed and have the final say, I was assigned to do the first part of the magazines which is the Artist of the Month. I'd chosed Lady Gaga as the Artist of the Month. Why Lady Gaga:

1) She's huge and very influential.
2) She's an icon. She's part of today's Pop Culture.
3) Massive hits to date.
4) Different styles but accepted in today's society.
