Individual Task by Maslina -redo
Here is the latest history page. I've made some changes to it since the old one looks boring and the text looks old.
This is the main page
After clicking the history site, there are 3 more tabs which is History, Timeline and Photos. As you can see, there is no more border near the button.
This is the Timeline. I've also made some changes from clicking the picture,then it will zoom out to a next button,which is more user friendly.
Lastly, the Photos section. Here,I inserted a play and stop button for the viewers to take their time by just clicking stop to admire their favourite artists. You can continue playing by clicking the play button.
When we click the Home button in the upper right corner, it will link back to the main page. As you can see in the upper right corner in the Main page, there is a La Vie logo. Just click the La Vie and it will go back to La Vie Main page.

Assignmen 2 by Maslina
For Assignmen 2 is slightly different from the previous assignmen. We were given a task in making a flash resume which suits our personal self. It can be animated and must have a button to click to on to it to link to another page.

Assignment 1 by Maslina
Kak Nor gave us a task on doing a character with another character fromchoosing either this 3 themes :
1) U and Ur PET > Cat etc
2) U and Ur ORAL HYGIENE > Teeth or Denture or Colgate or SUGI
3) U and FOOD HYGIENE > Wash hands b4 EATing, GERMS in Bad Food
So, I decided to choose the first theme which is me and my pet. The story goes like this. One evening while I was taking a stroll at the park, I saw a lost kitten. I adopted the kitten, when suddenly a handsome boy appears at the park. We get to know each other and then suddenly a fly flies around me, and he chase it away. I was touched and we fall in love. THE END :)

1)How is your understanding of the topic after doing the project? Understanding about interactive multimedia?
Firstly, i have no clue about what to do since I am new to flash. But, after having tutorials and completing my assignments with Kak Nor, I learned a lot and it become in handy for the project. After weeks trying and error with flash while completing the project, I learned some new methods for my project and to make it more attractive. Interactive Multimedia is not just flash, it combines all together the text, graphics, sounds that attract the readers while viewing it.
2)What were the problems faced since Proposal 2? How did you/your team solve your group problems?
The problem faced is since Proposal 2 is the arrangement of the links topic that has been devide between each members that is which tab should go first, and which is second and so on. Besides that, the right combination of colors plays an important role since our topic is Music. It has to be abstract and not something boring. Next, it took a while for me to learn on how to use flash and make it more interesting to apply to the webpage, so as a conclusion, I browse on the internet to watch video on how to use flash and learn from there. I also asked for help from my group members if I have the difficulties in completing the flash.
3)What would you do differently next time?
If I were given a chance in doing a same project like this, I would like to plan my project properly on what should be done first and I will to make a sketch or story board on the steps to be done. Besides that, more research about the project is an advantage to me, so that I will know what I am doing later. Not only that, I will try to improve my skills on flash so that the web will look more professional.
4)How is your motivation level?
My motivation level slowly increase from non to something. I learn that, though we works in a group, it doesn't mean that we have to depend all our work with the group members. I learn on how to become independent and not relying on others while completing the project. From there, I motivate myself in completing my part in the project.
5)How was working with your group / group leader?
All of us have our own opinion and we try to find the best solution if our opinion is contradict to this. Though our last presentation was not quite complete, we mustn't point fingers to others because all of us make mistakes and not perfect. I am glad we gone through all this, because in work life, it must be tough. It is an honour for me to work in a group with you guys.
6)How was it working on the project?
It was challenging but we manage to finish it.
7)Update on what you have been writing previously
I've been updating my work in our group blog, by putting some explaination and screenshot for the viewers to see.
8)How were your teammates/Group leader?
They were wonderful. This is my first time working with a Chinese. Before this I used to work with Malays. This is what I called, "Satu Malaysia". ^_^
9)Personal evaluation of your own effort and that of your team
I put a lot of effort in completing the project and so as the subject. Why? It's because, first the subject is soooo expensive, and I don't want to waste all that money just to get an F. I work hard to finish all the task given to me though there's a bit missunderstanding, I look it as a positive side. My group members have done the best they can and put a lot of effort in completing the project, and I'm sure they also learn something from this project.

Individual Task by Maslina
At first, i was thinking to do like a Jukebox, with a clickable function so that everytime I click,the music of each artist, their information and the artist name will pop up. But after thinking for sometime, I find it difficult to do the idea that is already on my mind. So, i have decided to just a simple music page for my history section. I have devided my part which is History in three categories, which i placed it into three scene so that it does look complicated and it is more tidy and easy to find. The first is the History of Pop Culture, secondly, Timeline and lastly is Photos.
This is the History page. It tells a little bit about how the first pop music started. Next is the Timeline page.
In this page as you can see, there's a picture of piano and four artists that i mention earlier. The reason why i chose the piano is because it looks like a timeline, my idea was creating something different than the original looking timeline that always look horizontally. You can see how the picture looks big and slowly getting smaller. Not only that, i also added a button function to aech of the picture above with some explaination.
When you click at either four of the picture above, there will be a pop up with some information about the artists on how they first started their career and how they bring music to life. To exit the pop up, on the upper right at the end of the corner, there is a small word called close, just click it and then it will go back to the main timeline page.

Individual Task by Maslina
Basically, this is what my page will look like after i edit the color of the background, so that it would easily devided and recognized which section you are in from the Music section. i chose the topic evolution of pop culture which tells the history of pop culture, the timeline from the 1980's to 1990's artist on how they started their career from nothing to something. Last but not least is a photo section which i inserted all the four artists which are elvis, michael jackson, madonna and also lady gaga, which brought a big impact to the pop music industry.
The reason i chose the color orange is because it is a History section, i want readers to get into the mood and feel while glancing through the page.

Basically, my idea on my link page which is HISTORY in the Music website is a mix of oldies concept with a touch of modern and trend to it so it will still look attractive and will capture one's eye if they see it for the first time. So, here is my sketch together with the explaination.

Indvidual Task by Maslina
After the 3rd meeting with my group members, I've been assigned to do History, the evolution of pop culture based on the Music section in the online magazine. For the history of pop culture, I've decided to chose Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson and Madonna. The reason behind is because they are well-known superstars and gave a lot of impact in the music and entertainment industry. Plus, they have became a living legend among us.
